nope,  no click no hv,  nothing,  just continues to squeal,  I lifted pin #2
of the vert IC ( b+ ) and still the same,  checked the opto coupler and all
the caps around the vert ic which are all live with plug in,  still
something is dragging down the smps.  I was pretty sure it was the vert IC
and have one ordered but they come direct from the factory and will take a
few days to get here,  also a 20.00 investment.  after lifting b+ at vert
ic,  I'm not sure that is the culprit,  none of its pins appear shorted to
each other,  guess its time to get a print.
