From NESDA Ohio website: Combo's Service Mode Try This: Turn on power. Press remote keys, Menu, Mute, Pause, Mute Press 1 and use Channel up/down to adjust. Press 1 to cycle between V size, V shift, and Horz shift modes. On Newer Units Try This: Remove cover from the customers remote and place a jumper across J1. You now have a service remote. Click for picture (bottom left of page) 1.. Turn on the unit 2.. Press "wake up/sleep" button on the remote 3.. Press vol up/down button on the remote until C/D is displayed on the screen. 4.. "1" button selects red cut off, "2" button is green cut off, "3" button is blue cut off, "4" button is red drive and "5" is blue drive. (You will have a horizontal line across the screen, set screen control as required) "9" button brings up "V-S", vertical size, and "V-P" vertical position. 5.. Use channel up/down to adjust. 6.. Press power off to exit and save. 7.. Don't forget to remove jumper from J1! This works for many newer Funai combis, e.g Emerson EWC1301 etc. Sylvania TV V-Chip ( Funai Made ) You can control movie ratings and TV ratings. 1. Press menu button so that the menu display appears on the screen. 2. Press Ch up or dn button to point to v-chip setup. 3. Then press Vol up button. 4. Press Ch up or dn button to point to TV rating or MPAA rating, ( movies ). 5. Press Vol up button. 6. Press Ch up or dn button to point to your selected item. 7. Then press Vol up to select "block" or "view". 8. Press menu to exit.
