Hi Larry;
Did you check to see what your regulated voltage is?  If your regulator is
sending too high of a voltage to your HOT B+ then your high voltage will be
excessive hence the shut down.  If the regulated B+ is within the normal
range then you will have narrowed down considerably where you will want to
troubleshoot.  If memory serves me right, the earlier versions of this
sylvania series were noted for bad flybacks.  My two bits
