If you wish to order from the USA, use the distributor Tritronics at
www.tritronics.com. You will need to register on line and set up an account
in order to receive the dealer price. Otherwise you would have to pay the
list price. There are many other distributors as well.
Have you replaced the heads on Sony camcorders before? Special equipment is
required to adjust the head switching. You have to change data in a memory
using the Service RM-95 attachment. It is an RM-95 remote with some internal
modifications and a special microprocessor. It plugs into the LANC
connector. You also need a special jig to connect to the test connector to
observe the RF envelope while adjusting the guide posts.
Perhaps you should visit the Sony Web site www.sony.com and discuss with
them about becoming an authorized service center. Then you could get all the
information you need.
