[TechAssist] Sony VCR, SLV-780HF doesn't eject

This Sony VCR, SLV-780HF came in with complaint that it wouldn't eject.
I powered up and it ejected as normal. Fast forwarded and rewound a
couple tapes and it still ejected normally.

I took mechanism apart to clean mode switch, sensors, solder, etc. and
found the pinion gear which meshes to the rack gear of the ject
mechanism has a couple teeth with chew marks on it.

Are there any other common problems with this model causing intermittant
eject?

I would like to get the Sony part number for this gear, please.
