David, nice to hear you are starting into another line of work. Hope it 
works out well for you.

Kinda sounds like you got a couple of the color signal wires crossed 
such as green output going to red driver transistor. Being you probably 
didn't touch any of that, this isn't it, is it?

Found tip that suggests soldering the degausing coil leads on the main 
board.
