[TechAssist] Sony Stereo Receiver TA-AX311 no display

I have this Sony receiver model number TA-AX311 that works perfect except
the glass tube display does not light up. I checked some voltages comming to
the 2 outside pins and it was about 2-3 volt ac so I replaced the display
tube with original Sony part1-519-663-11 and still no display. Does anyone
have a print on this model or can anyone tell me the voltage readings on the
glass display pins.
