[TechAssist] Re: Sony SLV696HF breaks gear

Jerry,

Most common problem in the MECH.,except for plain bearing
and RVS lever is the MODE SWITCH.
I usually clean the mode switch with every repair.
Also check for:
1. A crack white gear on the loading motor(M903).
2. Broken threading gear left #323.
This is all I have on SLV696.
