Yes, spoke to Sony, confirmed that the entire prizm ass'y has to be  
replaced, almost $2800 :(

My guess is  that the part listed is a filter, not the blue panel.  The price 
 
seems unlikely for the LCD panel.

Set has green blotch in middle of image, on prism ass'y has  three lcd
panels, blue one has big spot on it. Looking at part lists on  Tritronics, 
etc,  they
list prism ass'y at approx. $2500, however,  what sounds like the individual
lcd panel "def plate lens blue" is listed  for $140, is that the component I
want  to change? Just want to make  sure.
