Sony ESI does not list a service manual or any other info. The only thing
for this model is this:

All units needing repair will be sent to the Sony facility in Laredo, TX.
Repairs are not allowed in the ASC network at this time. All business and
professional model inquiries should be referred to CISC at 1-866-766-9272.
Please check this event in the future for updates to the service policy.

My guess is that the part listed is a filter, not the blue panel. The price
seems unlikely for the LCD panel.

Set has green blotch in middle of image, on prism ass'y has three lcd
panels, blue one has big spot on it. Looking at part lists on Tritronics,
etc, they
list prism ass'y at approx. $2500, however, what sounds like the individual
lcd panel "def plate lens blue" is listed for $140, is that the component I
want to change? Just want to make sure.
TIA
