[TechAssist] Sony KV-36FS10

Hi guys, went out on this Sony wega KV-36FS10 today supposedly hit by 
lightning. I don`t have
the print on this one and have never seen a symptom like this ever. Set 
powers up and has audio,
looking at the screen there is a 3-4 inch wide B&W picture on the left 
side of the screen, the rest of
the screen is black , OSD is in color and goes across the whole screen 
normally.  turning up brightness in customer menu  shows what I can only 
describe as a venetian blind effect in the black
only does not appear in the 3-4 inch picture, Has anyone got any ideas??
