[TechAssist] Sony KV25XBR Video goes dark
- From: "Shoreline Electronics" <jstielau@xxxxxxxx>

Make : Sony
Model : KV25XBR
Problem : Video looks good fro the first couple minutes but then slowly
fades to a darker image. Blackness slowly creeps in from the sides ( Like
fingers !)
We've seen a few of these over the years with the classis bad solder at the
delay line ( Causing int. dark pic....vibration sensitive). G2 line is
good. Checked R701 per tip in Winstips
Set is at customers house & we stopped by yesterday for a quick check but
we'll be going back today to check more items and/or pickup to bring to
shop.
Seems like a jungle CXA jungle IC type failure , but not sure if this model
uses one like the later models do.
Any ideas or notes would be helpful to flip this set quickly are
appreciated!
