Subject: [TechAssist] Sony KP-51WS500 HOP shorted

Sony KP-51WS500 projection tv, found Q8038 (1MB12-140) horzontal output
transister shorted. Are there any idnentified failures to cause the
failure? I have to order the transister, just wondering if there is
anything else to replace. All the solder joints look good.
Thank you,

Allen Josephsen
