[TechAssist] Sony KP-41T35 power light blinks


Hi All,
    I have to go to the customers house for this set next week. He only
lives about 35 miles away, and I am not familiar with this model of Sony
PTV. It is model KP-41T35. I am not sure what chassis this crosses to. He
says that when he tries to turn it on, the power light will blink, and
nothing else happens. Is this set like the Toshibas in the way that the
control circuit blinks the power light when the unit activates over-voltage
or over-current shutdown conditions?
I would like to have some idea as to what is going on with this thing. The
only other Sony PTV I have worked on was just replacing a green CRT. At this
point, any suggestions about this set is greatly appreciated.
