Thanks Gary,George,Kevin and Tommylee, for the info. I used one of those
red and white donut coils off of the old rca's have several of them and
used in past but won't work on this set, I tried everything still either
all blue bright with retrace and shutdown or no picture at all, when I
isolated it in the past I looked for 21 volts peak to peak on the wire ends,
then attached to heaters after they were cut from the rest of the world,
wonder if thats enough for this big Sony ? it just went to black screen
when I did that, thought I blew it all together but when re connected was
back to the blue screen, this one may be shot ? wish I still had a
rejuvenator, would be the second time I've needed it in about 5 years. if
I knew it would work this set would warrant its purchase, I'll try some
more and let you know what I find.
