[TechAssist] Re: Sharp cms-r550 stereo, skips excessively

Wilf, I did have that trouble with those individual conductor cables. It
was on a Panasonic portable. I did the same thing, replaced the pickup
and later determined that one conductor in the cable was intermittant.
What you can do is take your ohm meter and check continuity of each
conductor while wiggling the conductor around.
