Walter, thanks, but I think I found the problem. Brainfart, I didn't
check for +B when the relay came on. Anyway it's missing. I'm going to
short the relay and check voltages around the regulator just to be sure
(is this recommended?) Regulator is one of those STR-F6626 switching
types. I will check those resistors you mention also.

Only thing I have is check R655 and/or R656, and
resolder.
