Maybe this ServicePower Field Service means nothing, but..there are things
going on right now that are taking money from us. Like GE Contracts. We are
doing very few now, when for the past 6 years we were doing 5 or 6 a week.
It just stopped and then Circuit City contacted us and told my wife if we
wanted to still do some work we would have to take a pay cut and follow a
book of new rules. For now she has said forget it. Well there goes Thousands
of dollars a month. OK, let NSA, Circuit City, and these other Manufacturers
get running on their own National Service Plans, we will be lucky to get
table scraps. No matter how hard or good we are, it doesn't matter. We were
good to GE for years, put a priority on their customers, waited for our
money through all sorts of Audits, now they could care less. So wake up you,
lets do nothing out of our control fellows. Maybe you can keep your head in
the sand and hopefully you can avoid these changes and do nothing and you
won't be affected, if so Good Luck. Don't expect me to help or hopefully no
one on these list will help any of these NSA or Circuit City or anyone
taking business in our area. I think they should be blackballed or at least
not given any help by us.

I think some may have the wrong idea, this is nothing more than an
improvement to the Key Prestige system to work more like Service Bench.
They support the independent service shops by dispatching work to us.
Yes they do schedule the calls but we never go without making personal
contact with the customer and we can reschedule if we need to. We can
also reject the call if we don't want it but they only dispatch a call
to us if it is within a service area defined by us. The rates are still
between the manufacturer or the 3rd party contractor and the servicer.
ServiceBench and KPI streamline the billing process by having one system
for many manufacturers and contract companies as well as steering
service calls to the local service shop best suited to handle the job.
If the customer has no warranty and no extended warranty then they are
free to use any servicer they want. Those shops who opt out of doing
warranty work will not reap the benefits by their own choice.
