[TechAssist] Sanyo,SRT2400,Poor P/B,Rec

This time laspe unit used  in a security business has poor P/B and REC in the 
#24 &40 mode.The 8 mode works fine.The 8,24 &40 is for different speeds;40 
being the slowest.When playing back a program that has been recorded in 24 or 
40 there is "flagging"on the top of picture.Looks like a misalignment of the 
Guide Posts but that should show up on #8 and it's fine.Was thinking a bad 
Pinch roller may cause this??Need some feedback on this unit...TIA...
