Phil,
Failed R106 symptoms sound exactly like what he's contending with there. R106
is between
Ic001 and the HOT and is a 22k ohm 1/4w. Tell him to check that and if failed
replace it
with a 1/2w.

Subject: [TechAssist] Sanyo DS35750 ,channels "hunting" off frequency

I am assisting another shop who doesn't have a computer. The above
model, when a channel is selected seems to "hunt", or cycle on and off
station (like AFT). The tuner has been replaced, and is not the problem.
I don't know if this chassis has that R106 issue that opens, affecting
the 33V to the tuner. Need some assistance.
Thanks,
Phil Bader
