HOT Q402,
2SD1880 shorted.
Found also, the electrolytic next to the H. drive transformer, was open
symptom was no picture no sound, no relay action, 5v line was oscillating
from1.9-3.9v, b+ on hot was osillating from 45-82 volts, unsoldered ouput
pin of q681(78lo5) 5v stby reg, voltage came up to a steady 5 v, I wicked
off b+ to eeprom, then pin 14 and 22 of micro(vcc) still no results, checked
d 621 16v source, read 5.53 v, lifted pin4 of audio ic (la4600) 16v came
back, set fired up, hope this helps, have a good day, charles betzler@
