I just had a DS25204-01 (similar or same?) that had no vertical deflection. It turned out to be IC101 LA76843N, a 80 pin surface mount. Apparently this is a common problem, we had to wait about 2 - 3 months for the chip. I don't think it was expensive. Sorry, I do not have a schematic for either model. The vertical out on IC101 is on pin 26. The DS25204 is very similar to DS25320 in Sams 4801 except the DS25204 gets it's vetical B+ from the smps off D626 cathode and not from the fly.
