Unless he is a good customer, you have to charge a certain minimum.
After all that customer is taking up your time with, all-be-it, a simple
repair, but time that could have been spent repairing a TV which makes
you more money. Call it coffee money.

Good Eric...
Had to can email for a while... didn't get much done.
Up here...things have finally picked up again....
Just finished counting sets for Tuesday, (to be repaired)...I see
6...all
32" or more.
5 of them need the Cap change...possibly a Vertical O/P IC.
Nothing leaves the shop under $100.
Hope I don't sound (criminal)...but case in point...an older Gentleman
came
in yesterday and had an AC/DC adaptor he needed for a Heating Pad, and
needed the plug re-attached.
Came in and picked it up today, "How Much"?
Told him $5...he started out saying...."Come On"...expecting a speech on
Yada Yada...
He said...you can't survive on charging these prices...Gave me $10, and
keep
the change.
Took me 5 minutes to do the job..but not while he waited.
So this is a good story...right?;-)
