[TechAssist] Rca Tv-VCR combo T25208 dead

RCA TV/VCR combo
model T25208

               This appears to be an emerson/orion unit from the Ul #. Unit 
is dead. There appears to be plenty of power on the main chassis, just no 
turn on (of course I dont have the schematic to check every thing). It acts 
like the ones in parental lock, but no blinking lights. I skimed the owners 
manual on RCA's web site, no mention of parental lock, just V chip.. Problem 
2 Neither I nor the customer has the remote, Tried one of the Zenith 
univerals that we keep in stock on all RCA and emerson codes, no luck. 
Ideas.....
