Wayne,

Check this out: http://www.iwaynet.net/~nesda/flypoor.html
It'll test the ringing of the coils in the flyback but it's not a proper
test under load! I've used this test many times. Good luck.

Subject: [TechAssist] RInger Info please

Hi All

I was wondering what my easiest way to get a flyback ringer is. I
remember my dad using a B & K 1076 TV analyst for testing
Flybacks and yolks etc etc.. THis tester was great a long time ago but
I was wondering if it could still be used for ringing
A flyback etc.. Does anyone have info on using this one or can suggest
another easy way.
I was going to build a small one myself but I 've misplaced the
schematic that I found a while ago.
I have a Toshiba tv set and need to test the flyback.. The Horiz. output

Transister blows instantly now when replaced.

TIA
