Tks Mark,that's what I though,but when I replaced a 213B with  213C it did
not work.I installed the old 213B back in the AIWA,touched up the gain
control &got it going.I'm not sure now if I may have had to do the same with
the new 213C.&yes,i did remove the shipping short.tks again for
