You should check C4402 cap to see if it's "bulgy", it should be flat
visually, but check it with a cap tester, not an esr meter. The capacitance
can drop to 0.17uf killing the output. Sometimes CR 4401 or 4402 will short
also. I haven't had any bad C4401 or the C4406 but C4406 is critical in
limiting the Vpp of the retrace as is the C4401/4402 ac voltage divider

PS I use a Radio Shack multimeter for cap testing and it has been very
accurate as long as you use the correct range in testing.
