That is the larger case style 2-16D3A. 2SD1427 is an exact replacement rated at 80 watt and 5 amp. with a built-in damper, although they do cost about $5 each. I don't know what the original RCA's cost. NTE2354 is a very fast switching transistor and would be a good replacement if you have a HOT that is running hot but a NTE2354 has the metal tab you must deal with. I assusme this is a small screen portable so if it is running hot, you have other problems. John.
