Paul and All:
Is it possible for just a H.O.T. to go bad by itself? Just wondering,
because we have had repairs that just needed that part replaced. I am not
being smart, just trying to share information and learn more. I know there
are many things that will cause a H.O.T. to go bad, (flyback, no drive,
arching CRT, ect), just curious?

Sorry to be a smart ass, but I think that you repaired the symptom, not the
problem. The question is what caused the HOT to short?? If you didn't find
that, then the set will be back!!
