[TechAssist] RCA TV Mod. F27690BC Chas. CTC 197AC3 - Yoke smokes

Help Techs,

I am a small shop (very small) and haven't had the pleasure of working on
the CTC197 chassis yet.  The set came in dead, determined the flyback was
defective.  Ordered RCA flyback & HOT, after installing new parts, set would
not power up.  Within seconds, I noticed smoke coming out from the yoke.  If
I removed the vertical plug from the yoke, high voltage would power up.  Now
I know the flyback was defective and high voltage is working with new
flyback.

Question is - is the yoke a weak part in this chassis?  Or did I do
something wrong?  Or is there a reasonable explanation why this happened?

This is the first time I have ever had a yoke go up in smoke while working
on a tv in 25 years.

Does anyone know the part number for a deflection yoke for this model.
