Hi all,
I am working on a RP TV, chassis CTC169PE.
I don't think the OSD is displaying correctly,
but I am not totally sure what it should look like.
Here is what I see when changing the channel with
no video on the input.
for the first second or two:
Blue and green display the channel number brightly,
and nothing on the red.
After that the channel number on the blue and green shift
up slightly, and there is a low red raster that
covers the
whole red screen, except black were the channel
number is.
As if red may be inverted.
Then after a few seconds more, the channel number gos
off and
all tubes are dark, as they should be with not video
input.
Is this the normal operation for this set?
I have checked the few components between the
micro-controller
and the T-chip regarding the osd, all test ok. So I am
thinking maybe eeprom. Dose this eeprom need to be
reprogrammed
with any settings, like with the ctc175(i think)?
Thanks,
Jim
