I have a cracked board on a:
Name: RCA ColorTrak 40" Projection Color TV
Model #: PPR 400 P
Chassis #: VP6X solid state, unitized
I inherited this unit and looked it over to see if anything was wrong
before I fired it up. I inspected the unit board by board and the only
things I found wrong was that the antifreeze was low in the green tube
and the VP6X Power Sub PCB has a crack in it. I went ahead and soldered
jumper wires across the crack and checked all the fuses to see if that
was the only problem and it fired right up without a hitch. I was
surprised to find no fuses blown before or after firing it up.
I would like to know if anyone could tell me where I can find a
replacement VP6X Power Sub PCB to replace the cracked one.
Thanks in advance,
David Waybright
