Customer said it shut down, only click at power on. Replaced shorted
H.O.xistor, c4402, horiz. dr. cap., checked and replaced 2.2, 15, 39, 470
cap's in chopper/ Reg. circuit. Looked for coolant leaks, none visible.
Checked all standby voltages , all, right on...
At power on, Arcing at Blue anode cup, with in seconds blue came on.
Removed crt found pin hole in anode cup and few drops of coolant.
Question?, best method of cleaning & sealing? i'm using 40k hv lead off a
Mits. 35". Repaired my share of 169 chassis', a few with anode problem's...
Any tips appreciated. Thank you.
