I DON'T KNOW IF I READ ALL MESSAGES ON THIS PROBLEM BUT, IT JUST DAWNED ON ME. YOU SAY THAT IT SHUTS DOWN WHEN POWER CONNECTOR TO AUDIO IS CONNECTED. I BET YOU HAVE A LEAKY SUPPLY DIODE THAT WORKS UNTIL YOU INTRODUCE THAT LOAD. ANYTIME I WORK ON ONE OF THESE 169S', I CHANGE ALL SUPPLY DIODES. THEY USE TO CAUSE ME ALL KINDS OF NIGHTMARES. IF YOU REPLACE THESE YOU WILL SAVE ON RECALLS.James Daly > From: TeleramaTV@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [TA-A] > Re: RCA F35750ST (CTC169BG5) SHUT DOWN WHEN P1905 CONNECTED to AUDIO PCB> > Date: Fri, 8 Feb 2008 03:14:22 -0500> > Hey Jack,> If I remember, aren't > those TDA's insulated from the heatsink?
