[TA-A] Re: RCA F35750ST (CTC169BG5) SHUT DOWN WHEN P1905 CONNECTED to AUDIO PCB

Not worried about the F35750 at present, what I need is help on a philips
50P8341A, proj.
TV.

Symptom: intermittent no video or audio when turned on. Replaced the Focus/G2
block, which apparently causes problems of this nature. Learned from posts at
http://www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/10-2004/msg00953.html. G2 is
monitored and if incorrect will disable video and sound? Initially changed the
upright Daugher PCB located on the left, which generally caused problems, but
subbed out with a known good one, and still the same symptom, it's not the
Daughter PCB. The archive address suggests a Kit for the power PCB, but HV,
sweep, etc, is OK, and don't think this modification will do much good, they
want 30 dollars for the Kit. If someone can help me with this problem which
I'm sure is a common problem with this unit I'd appreciate it: Chassis PTV
915.

Thanks

Hey Jack,
If I remember, aren't those TDA's insulated from the heatsink? Check
continuity. I don't know why there is no 901 on the schematic. How about the
header location from the supply?

Give me a component location right off that J901 on the audio board
