From a service bulletin, slow or intermittent turn on.
Change cp23 from a 2.2 to a 4.7uf 50V 105F cap.
My copy of the schematic is Thomson service data, can't readily share it.
Now,
You should have clock and data activity for a short time at plug in.
Check eeprom IR02 pins 5 and 6.
Power supply:
DP80k 129vdc
dp65k 16v
dp78a (neg rectifier) -12V
TP340e and c, about 16v
IP350p1 14v p3 5.3v
H drive is at IV01p34.
Do you have drive out when you press power, even momentarily?
If you do not have H out do you have:
IV01p36 Vcc 9v
IV01p30 dig Vcc 3.2v
IV01p 24, 24 clock, data respectively
You guys let me know what you find.
