Sorry, that is for TX808. My eyes were playing tricks. Hope it's the
same for TX809.

Ed, check this:
TX809:
Symptom: Dead,...won't turn on,...hear a tic tic. H.O.T. (TL02) collector
reads 80 volts.
Solution: Replaced DL04 (BY448) part # 248797 (shorted).
