We were told, all the connectors on the small signal board.
I take my hot air desoldering gun and just heat the solder on all the pins 
around the outside of the
board. The type of solder they use for these is a different alloy than the lead 
solder most common.
Heating with an  iron will not allow the solder to stay on the pad.

I've seen this before. What connector pins are you talking about? And why
not use an iron?
