"Billy, I would estimate the repair to be $150-175, well worth repairing.",
it's the well worth repairing part that wouldn't fly around here.
You can buy this set in my area for around $200.00
I have one in shop now, with the problems you describe(HOT and Drive Tranformer)
although mine also has a 'zapped' Power Supply(Regulator,Transistors
,resistor).
I think it's the connection on the Drive Coil that starts this.
I gave an estimate of $125,which was refused by the customer.
They DID leave me the set though.
If this set is for sell for around $200.00,shouldn't it sell for that
everywhere ???
How about Gas ???
