Billy, I would estimate the repair to be $150-175, well worth repairing.

Most likely, the horz output transistor is shorted. This can be verified by
removing the transistor and measure the resistance. If shorted, I would
check the connections on the horz driver transformer and the horz output
transformer. If these check out, I would suspect the horz output transformer
as being defective.

You can probably get enough information on this site to repair the set.
