I am trying to catch up here.
The tuner has two flat packs in it, and I have seen each on of them cause a
pulsing dead set.
I have started replacing both at the same time. U17701 is the mixer,
227007, U17301 is the mix, 231528, and u17401 and 17501 is the pll, 231529.
Note, two tuners. You can unplug the second tuner to eliminate that being
the cause.
The way to determine wether the IHVT is good or bad is to look at the HOT
collector, or if you can not do that, the 200v secondary, and check for
ringing at "turn on".
