Ed,
I notice several resistors, especially 2-3 watts very stressed in these. You 
almost have to look up the
part location to confirm it's value.
I'll send you a TS guide.

Anyone have any History on this set (Dead).
Horizontal is not shorted, visual check of R14126 (33K) shows it has had
stress (white), but measures OK. Have checked Diodes, but in circuit
only, seem ok, unless one is leaky.
 When I first powered it up, could smell something heating up. Anyone
have a manual for this, this is my first one. (CTC197).
