[TechAssist] RCA 35"- CTC169--Green spot on tube when shut off/unplugged from AC

Good morning,
I have a RCA 35", Model G35830WKLM2, that has a green spot, lower left
center, when shut off or unplugged. The only way that I can get the spot to
disappear is to either unplug the CRT Kine Board or Remove G2 wire off Pin
1. The spot will then fade out. I disconnect the green Transistor and it's
still there. With power unplugged, I shorted everything on the CRT board
and the spot is still there. I can connect High Volt Probe to the Anode and
drain off High Volt to remove green spot also, obviously. This spot will
remain there for hours if I don't drain off high voltage. Any help on this
would be greatly appreciated.
                                TIA SCOTT
