[TechAssist] Re: RCA 27V530T ITC 008 chassis

I checked three identical ITC 008(KCS) chassis in my shop and all have 15k
smd in for the RV001. No problems with sync yet. I wonder if the glue under
the resistor is acting up. Two of the chassis had been turning itself on off
intermittently and I ended up resoldering the power supply/regulator circuit
and it seems to have stopped.(two days at 8hrs each) The third was snow only
at turn on and occasionally would receive a picture with sound. When you
changed channels it would go back to snow. Fix was open RL043(8.2k) on the
33v line, picture was still a bit snowy and replacing tuner/NH001 (248782)
cleared it up.
Will return two of the sets early tomorrow as the clients are extremely
agitated, but curious as to what Thomson will say about changing RV001 to
910 ohms. Maybe there was an engineering change.
