[TechAssist] Question on TurboNet Pro

This is a unit that maufacturer claims will give a speedup of
downloading on dialup internet, it is a unit that plugs into the phone line.
Has anybody tried this unit? The price is reasonable but if someone has
already established that it is a peice of junk then no point checking
further on it.
