Clean or replace the running voltage control. You may have also to
replace the 2.2mf, 15mf, and 39/47mf from pin 16 to the base of the
shopper transistor. With the set off check for 138-140v B+ at flyback
txmer, and 12.8 at CR1118. (Running 143-44 and 13.6-.9)
Good luck,

Mine is the bleeder assembly..at least I think so. If I remove the wire
from the CRT that goes to the bleeder assembly, the set starts with high
voltage. Jeff

Russ..
I have the same set here. You should include the model number and full
chassis as there are different
variations of this chassis.
What happens to collector voltage and standby and B+ when you press
power? Do you have secondary voltages on the FLY?
I have none, but when I press power, 26 v starts up, 15V goes down and
B+
goes down..like they're being
held down at power on.

Power supply is not firing up. I cannot find any shorts or heavy loads
on the output side.
I've tried watching it on a scope and bringing the AC up slowly, not
even a twitch.
Has raw B+.
I haven't had many CTC169s, does anyone know of any common failures in
this supply?
Looks like a thousand or more tips in the tip section, will take me a
month just to sort through them.
Thanks
