[TechAssist] Playstation 2 repair SCPH30001

Hello,
This unit will take a CD, spins it slightly, for a fraction of a second,
which leads me to believe it is not detecting a CD/DVD. Every time I press
'reset' it will move slightly. The laser does not slide at all.
I'm not familiar with these at all. I did clean the lens, with no help. On
screen I have "Browser" and System configuration which does not change even
when I place a CD/DVD in the unit.
Can someone offer any suggestions?
