[TechAssist] Play Station 2 (Won't read PS2 discs)

Hello All and Happy Holidays,
Have a PS2 it will read PS1 and CD's,but not PS2 cd's. Has everyone ever run
into this before? Don't normally work on PS's. Any help would be appreciated.
