[TechAssist] Re: Pioneer\SDP50A3K...DEAD

I learned about it from Pioneer tech support when
asking if the problem was the same on a set that
was still in warranty.
He gave me the new part no.xxxx180, and said that
if I ordered the old IC(from Pioneer), that I would
get the new one.
From that, the answer is yes.
I just did a SD-P50A3-K and used the new chips.
Barely had to retouch the convergence.
From now on, I'll order only the xxxx180's.
Wonder why it took them about 8 years to figure
this out??
