Larry, before you replace the IC, check for low ohm resistors,  if they are
the least bit over (ie a 2.2 ohm reading 3.6) will cause strange problems. I
know that many of us will usually ignore a difference in a reading of 1 or 2
ohms but in the case of low ohm resistors on a conv. Board 1 or 2 ohms may
be an increase of more than 100%. Check for bad joints on IC and low
capacitance caps too. Pioneer used to have problems with them in conv board

95 model, one convergence IC.
cant converge blue right and left.
not bowed but whole blue is sat over 1 inch and customer or
service menu wont move it either way.
good up and down.
red goes all 4 directions fine.
i doubt this is the convergence IC.
what you all think???
